Proven so well, in fact, that both PostgreSQL and MySQL have commercial support available and are used by some of the largest companies on the Internet, including Google, Amazon, O'Reilly Press, and many others.

Entarsia offers the use of both PostgreSQL and MySQL to clients for their use. In fact, a number of our other offered services require one or the other of these database engines. Because of MySQLs dual licensing model, there is an additional charge for its use.
